NEH Challenge Grant

In 2010, ARCS was awarded an NEH Challenge Grant in the sum of $750,000. The NEH will match every $3 that ARCS raises with a $1 donation; and so, to claim the full match, ARCS must raise $2,250,00 over the period 2010-2013. The funds raised, potentially $3,000,000, will provide an endowment for ARCS staff salaries and library purchases, and some measure of stability for the institution as a whole as it continues to pursue its mission during these times of global economic uncertainty.

Meeting the terms of this Challenge Grant in order to obtain the full $750,000 match from NEH is among the highest fund development priorities for ARCS. If you are interested in donating to ARCS, please consider making your gift in support of the NEH Challenge Grant: to do so, please enclose with your check a signed and dated letter of certification that specifies that your donation is to be used for this purpose.
