The international academic conference The Rogozen Treasure in the Ancient World. 30 years later just came to an end. Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Center of Excellence in the Humanities “Alma Mater”, the Regional Studies Program, the American Research Center in Sofia, the Municipality of Vratsa and the Regional Museum of History in Vratsa, as organizers of the conference, would like to take this opportunity to extend their gratitude to all participants for attending and sharing their newest research on one of the most spectacular discoveries of the 20^th century – the Rogozen Treasure.

The conference, which took place between November 3-5, 2016 in the town of Vratsa, brought together 15 scholars from Bulgaria, Greece, Germany and Great Britain to present their latest research on the Rogozen Treasure. The mayor of Vratsa, Mr. Kalin Kamenov, delivered the opening remarks of the conference, followed by a speech from the Director of the Regional Museum of History in Vrtasa, Dr. Georgi Ganetsovski. The paper sessions were followed by an extraordinary opportunity afforded by our host to study and handle vessels from the Rogozen Treasure.
