The present project compares the plant remains retrieved from three of the necropoleis in southeast Bulgaria (two from Kabyle and one near the village Skobelevo) to give a detailed picture of the burial rituals in the examined region. It gives a good opportunity to trace the similarities and the differences between the considered micro-regions. This kind of analysis will help us to distinguish local and import species which will give information about trade and cultural relations between the micro-regions.
