The objective of the proposed project is to construct and equip a new storage facility for preservation of icons, weapons, fabrics and incunabula - some of the most valuable and delicate of the museums’ collections. Regardless of the fact that a special building was constructed for the museum, there were no equipped storage facilities for these collections. A new facility would lead to the enhancement of conditions of preservation of materials, and thus, to the maintenance of cultural values with educational, entertaining, and economic purpose for generations to come.
